Learn from Jesus

GOSPEL
Mt 11:28-30

Jesus said to the crowds:
“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened,
   and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
   for I am meek and humble of heart;
   and you will find rest for yourselves.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”

Reflection

Are your life always heavy? Full of problems? Of sufferings? Of burdens? Of heavy loads in your work? Come to Jesus and rest, learn from him for he alone can lighten up our burdens in life. He alone can give us rest. The world will only make our life stressful and tired. Or maybe far away from God… “we should not worship what is in the world” but God alone. 😇

Prayer : Father almighty, you give us Christ as an example of obedience to your will and love. May we become like Christ and do what you desire in our life. We ask this through Him with the Holy Spirit, One God, forever and ever. Amen.
